Celebrating Monier Road

Last Thursday we celebrated the completion of Monier Road with a party at the ground floor of the building in Fish Island, Hackney Wick.

We hosted apartment tours and each of our guests went home with one of our signature hand printed tennis table bats.

Our Homefield House was exhibited as part of this public exhibition exploring Brick by Brick's smaller sites programme.

'Architecture, identity, place' LFA 2018

A walk and talk looking at the past, present and future of Fish Island, exploring the importance of the role of architecture in helping re-assert a new identity of an area and how a new sense of place can be achieved whilst respecting the past.

The walk was led by those involved in Fish Island Village, Esther Everett (LLDC), Jennifer Pirie (Lyndon Goode Architects), Ken Okonkwo (Haworth Tompkins Architects), Luke Tozer (Pitman Tozer Architects) and Cris Robertson (The Trampery).

We are delighted to be part of the winning consortium led by HTA Design, and including Stitch to deliver phase 3 of the ongoing redevelopment of the 1960s Gascoigne East estate in Barking, east London. The competition was organised by Barking and Dagenham Council's regeneration arm, Be First.

Imperial Street is granted planning

Our 407-home scheme in east London with bptw partnership has been approved by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC). The Imperial Street scheme will see five buildings of between three and 14 storeys created by the canal in Bromley by Bow. The scheme, backed by developer Lindhill Properties, will include retail and employment space.

Bronze Mews House is granted planning

Nov 2017

The new-build house replaces a 1960s end-of-terrace mews house. The new house is characterized by bronze paneling, frameless glazing and fastidious detailing which results in jewel-like book end to the terrace.

Associate Andy Matthews prepared and led this cycle tour with Peter Murray. The tour formed part of New London Architecture's up and coming London's Towns exhibition and insight study. Starting in Greenwich and following a circular route around London the tour explored development and regeneration across 'London's Towns'.
