Imperial Street

A residential-led mixed-use scheme as part of a wider 1700-home masterplan

Imperial Street redevelops a brownfield site to create a residential-led mixed-use scheme as part of a wider 1700-home masterplan. The site has been identified by the London Legacy Development Corporation as part of a wider regeneration area for Bromley-by-Bow.

Imperial Phase 2 delivers much-needed, high-quality housing close to the River Lea. Providing 144 new homes in a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units as well as 168 sqm of commercial space, the building is conceived as a mansion court around a communal landscaped courtyard.

The architectural and material quality ensures the building is contextual and contemporary, reflecting the industrial urban history of the area.

Planning permission was granted by the LLDC in January 2018.
